Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I will lay out some of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most popular promotional methods.
Please notethis isn’t all of the methods. But, being a member of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we will discuss each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this might help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of promoting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels teaches you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner successful?
For me it wasn’t . I found that since this is taught in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Envision thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals offer a free lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and at the follow up try and find the customer to select the free + shipping publication offer.
This turns out for a much more effective approach, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way competitive it is. Especially since the launching of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, many individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of a single Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a bit too rich for my blood.
Since of Adwords being so large , some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still responsible for approximately 33% of all web traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Since of the, I’d expect Bing traffic to increase . So, it may be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few individuals who are very effective together.
This technique could work collectively with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you need to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially those in a marketplace such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to market Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a ton of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it is said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result is that a certain percentage of people will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, offer them information , or free tools to help them along.
This is a very powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to currently be a Clickfunnels penis , and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic to a landing page, where you really give away these funnels free of .
The purpose here, would be for people to not be Clickfunnels associates , so they’ll need to sign up with your link, then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which has the potential to allow them to start collecting trials instantly. Also at exactly the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From there, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails in the funnel builder. Because just like you’re trying to convert trials along with your funnel, they’re attempting to convert you.
It is not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to succeed , you need to have traffic of course. This could be done by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about now.
For those of you that do not know , SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes longer to start making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin.
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and useful articles (like this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it requires some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in visitors for years to come; with minimal upkeep.
This was my favorite method when starting out, since I did not want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about compensated traffic, is that though it is possible to get traffic fast, you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t need to worry about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.
Here’s a screenshot of my dash in the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of this past year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I have earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is how it starts to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.
If you are interested in how I heard SEO, you can take a look at the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular strategies into building an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo ad. But, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list.
With powerful email advertising, this may be a excellent method to earn commissions in the long run.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is that they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people , who would be SOL.
Another and to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here for free.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and can be quite helpful if you choose to go through it.
In order to do all of of the training, you’ll at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I have done it myself in the past.
It is done through the dashboard, so there’s no need to have to talk to anybody about it, if you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a number of people who fail. But if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you will be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of people who remain stuck, since they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This doesn’t help you scale. It holds you back.
