Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this manual , I’ll lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a few ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most popular promotional methods.
Please notethis isn’t all of the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we will discuss each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this might help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels teaches you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner successful?
For me it was not. I found that because this is educated in the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Envision tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the same product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some people now provide a free lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and find the customer to choose the free + shipping book offer.
This turns out to be a much more effective approach, if you are wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
The down side to Google Adwords, is how aggressive it is. Especially since the launching of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a bit too rich for my blood.
For why of Adwords being so large, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, bear in mind it’s still accountable for approximately 33% of all web traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing instead of Google.
Since of this, I’d expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it may be a excellent chance for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a few people who are very effective together.
This method could work together with traffic that is compensated , or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You need the listing to be constructed with an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your list. Especially people in a marketplace such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to market Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that is by giving a ton of free value, or a lead magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 days of seeing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result is a certain percentage of people may end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, offer them information , or free tools etc to assist them along.
This is a really effective method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to be a Clickfunnels penis , and be adequate in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push visitors into a landing page, where you literally give away these funnels for free.
The purpose here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels members , so they’ll need to join with your connection, then import the funnel to their dashboard.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that actually worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which has the capacity to let them start collecting trials instantly. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user who supplied the funnel, new trials.
From there, you’d send some helpful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you’ll also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just as if you’re trying to convert trials with your funnel, they are trying to convert you.
It is not as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to work, you need to get traffic naturally. This can be accomplished by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we will talk about today.
For those of you that do not know, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more to start making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin .
The purpose behind SEO, is to write high quality and valuable articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it takes some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in visitors for a long time to come; using minimal maintenance .
This was my favorite method when beginning, since I did not want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid visitors, is that though you may get traffic quickly , you have to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t need to worry about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are gain.
Here’s a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of this past year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is how it begins to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I personally heard SEO, you can take a look at the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements .
Solo ads is one of the most popular strategies to building an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or two out of running a solo ad. But, you should find a decent quantity of optins to your list .
With effective email advertising, this may be a great way to earn commissions in the long run.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is that they’re a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do possess your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people , who would be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate supplies. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here at no cost.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and can be very helpful if you decide to go through it.
In order to do all of of the training, you will at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I Have done it previously.
It’s done via the dashboard, so there’s absolutely no need to have to talk to anybody about it, should you pick it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find many people who fail. But if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you will be successful.
My advice to you would be to select one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in too many directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
