Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Landing Page Best Practices
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Landing Page Best Practices
Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I’ll lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most common promotional procedures.
Please notethis isn’t all of the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we shall discuss each method a small more in depth. Hopefully this might help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common methods of promoting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels teaches you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective?
For me it was not . I discovered that because this is educated in the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Envision tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the same product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some people today provide a complimentary lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and at the follow up try and find the customer to take the free + shipping book offer.
This proves to be a much more effective strategy , if you’re wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Landing Page Best Practices
The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a bit too rich for my blood.
For the reason of Adwords being large , some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, keep in mind it is still responsible for approximately 33% of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing instead of Google.
Since of the, I would expect Bing traffic into increase . So, it could be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In reality , I know of a few men and women who are very successful together.
This technique could work collectively with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you have to have an email list built first. You want the list to be constructed with an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts in your listing. Especially those in a market such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to market Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a ton of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of viewing something on average, before they buy; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result will be that a certain proportion of individuals will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice, or free tools etc to help them along.
The end goal is obviously you desire them to become a paying subscriber, in which you’d make a recurring commission for each month they stay . Landing Page Best Practices
This is a very powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels manhood, and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive visitors into a landing page, where you literally give these funnels for free.
The goal here, would be for people to not be Clickfunnels members , so they’ll have to sign up with your connection, then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which has the potential to let them start collecting trials immediately. Also at the exact same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user who supplied the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to land the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you’ll also be getting mails in the funnel builder. Because just as though you’re trying to convert trials along with your funnel, they’re attempting to convert you.
It’s not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to work, you have to get traffic naturally. This can be accomplished by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we’ll talk about today.
For those of you that do not know , SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more time to begin making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin.
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and useful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it takes some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in traffic for years to come; with minimal maintenance .
This was my favorite method when beginning, since I did not want to sink lots of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic , is that although you can get traffic quick, you have to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t need to be worried about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are profit .
Here is a screenshot of my dash in the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of past year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it starts to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I personally heard SEO, you can take a look in the class I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements .
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or two from running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a decent quantity of optins to your listing.
From that point, you’d utilize the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Landing Page Best Practices
With effective email advertising, this may be a excellent method to earn commissions at the long run.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they are a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do have your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people , who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that once you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can enroll here for free.
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is quite informative, and may be quite helpful if you choose to undergo it.
To be able to do all of the training, you will at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I’ve done it myself previously.
It’s done via the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to speak to anyone about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, there are many people who neglect. But if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you may be successful.
My advice for you would be to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of individuals who stay stuck, since they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This doesn’t help you climb. It holds you back.
