Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Lead Generation Dan
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Lead Generation Dan
Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this guide, I’ll lay out some of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out a few of the most frequent promotional methods.
Please notethis is not all the methods. However, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we will examine each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this can help you decide which method best resonates with you.
Among the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels instructs you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way successful?
For me it was not . I found that because this is educated from the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Envision tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals provide a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and find the customer to choose the free + shipping book offer.
This proves for a far more effective strategy, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Lead Generation Dan
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way competitive it is. Especially since the launch of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the course, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a little too rich for my blood.
Because of Adwords being large, some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still accountable for approximately 33 percent of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Since of this, I’d expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it could be a excellent opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few people who are extremely effective with them.
This technique could work collectively with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone thing .
First off, you have to have an email list built first. You want the list to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your list. Especially those in a marketplace such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to market Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that is by providing a great deal of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of watching something on average, before they buy; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The closing result will be a certain proportion of individuals will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice , or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they remain. Lead Generation Dan
This is a very powerful way of getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to currently be a Clickfunnels member, and be adequate in building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive visitors into a landing page, where you really give away these funnels free of cost.
The purpose here, is for people to not be Clickfunnels associates already, so they will need to sign up with your connection , then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can potentially let them start collecting trials immediately. Also at exactly the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some helpful followup emails, with advice on how to land the visitors, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be receiving mails from the funnel builder. Because just like you’re attempting to convert trials and your funnel, they’re trying to convert you.
It is not as simple as it seems. Because in order for this to be effective, you have to get traffic of course. This could be done by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we shall talk about today.
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires longer to start making progress. However, it involves little to no cash to start .
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it requires some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in traffic for years to come; using minimal maintenance.
This was my favorite method when beginning, because I didn’t want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about compensated traffic, is that although you may get traffic quickly , you have to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not need to worry about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.
Here’s a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of past year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I Have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is the way that it begins to compound once your site(s) start to rank.
If you are interested in how I personally learned SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements .
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to building an email list.
You likely will not get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 out of conducting a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should find a decent quantity of optins to your list.
From that point, you’d use the email advertising method, to endeavor to convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Lead Generation Dan
With effective email marketing, this may be a good way to earn commissions at the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is that they’re a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do have your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people , who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that later you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here for free.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is quite informative, and can be very helpful if you choose to undergo it.
In order to perform all of the training, you will at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I have done it in the past.
It’s done through the dashboard, so there is no need to have to talk to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a number of individuals who fail. But if you simply do it, and tweak things as you go, you may be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
