Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Leads For Pencils
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Leads For Pencils
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most frequent promotional procedures.
Please note, this is not all of the methods. However, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods that I most commonly see cited .
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we’ll discuss each method a small more in depth. Hopefully this might help you decide which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Advertising . Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner effective?
For me it wasn’t . I discovered that because this is taught from the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Envision tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some people provide a complimentary lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and get the client to select the free + shipping publication offer.
This proves for a much more effective approach, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate. Leads For Pencils
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way aggressive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, driving the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a little too rich for my blood.
For why of Adwords being so high, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, bear in mind it’s still responsible for approximately 33% of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Since of this, I would expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it could be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few people that are very successful with them.
This method could work collectively with traffic that is compensated , or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You need the listing to be built with an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially people in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to promote Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a great deal of free value, or a guide magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Because it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they purchase; the aim here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The closing result will be that a certain proportion of people will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, supply them advice , or free tools etc to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they remain. Leads For Pencils
This is a really powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to currently be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent at building a funnel.
What you will do, is push visitors into a landing page, where you literally give away these funnels at no cost.
The goal here, would be for people not to be Clickfunnels members already, so they will have to sign up with your link , then import the funnel into their dash.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that actually worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in many cases.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can potentially allow them to begin collecting trials immediately. Also at the exact same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just as though you’re attempting to convert trials along with your funnel, they’re trying to convert you.
It is not as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to be effective, you have to have traffic of course. This could be accomplished by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we will talk about today.
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more to start making progress. However, , it involves little to no cash to get started.
The purpose behind SEO, is to write high quality and valuable articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it requires some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in visitors for years to come; with minimal upkeep.
This was my favorite method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about compensated visitors , is that although it’s likely to get traffic fast , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not need to worry about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are gain.
Here’s a screenshot of my dashboard in the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is how it begins to chemical once your site (s) begin to rank.
If you are curious about how I personally learned SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements .
Solo ads is one of the most popular strategies to building an email list.
You probably won’t receive any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a decent amount of optins to your listing.
From that point, you would utilize the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Leads For Pencils
With powerful email marketing , this can be a excellent way to earn commissions in the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they’re a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that once you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
you may enroll here free of charge .
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and may be quite helpful if you choose to go through it.
In order to do all of the training, you will at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I Have done it previously.
It’s done through the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to talk to anyone about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like with anything, there are a range of people who fail. However, if you just do it , and tweak things as you proceed, you may be successful.
My advice for you is to pick one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This doesn’t help you climb. It holds you back.
