While Clickfunnels may be the most well-known sales funnel software , you frequently hear people speaking about earning a great deal of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Pat Flynn Clickfunnels
The answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends how you go about promoting it, and on what your skillset is.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Approaches
In the following guide, I’ll lay out a few of the fundamental ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I will share what works best for me, also have tried a few ways .
First, let’s lay out some of the methods that are most common.
Please be aware, this is not the methods all. But, being a member of several Clickfunnels Facebook classes, these are the methods that I commonly see cited.
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Advertising
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we will discuss each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this might help you decide which method best contrasts with you.
One of the most common ways of promoting Clickfunnels within an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels teaches you to perform this in their Affiliate Bootcamp. Pat Flynn Clickfunnels
Now, is this way successful?
For me it was not. I found that since this is taught in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Imagine tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the same item.
Essentially, that’s exactly what it is. Now, some people today offer you a complimentary lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and get the client to take the free + shipping book offer.
This turns out to be a much more effective approach, if you are wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, a lot of individuals have made a whole lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, with Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he has broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate.
The other hand to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the path, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords procedure, driving the price of a single Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen folks paying upwards of $400 for a click! Not a demo; a click.
Unsure about you, but that is a little too rich for the blood.
For the reason of Adwords being so high, some individuals have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still accountable for approximately 33% of all internet traffic.
Recently if you’ve got an Android phone, you may have discovered after clicking a link on your own email, the URL opens into Bing rather than Google.
As a result of this, I would expect Bing visitors to rise. So, it may be a great prospect for Bing Advertising. In fact, I know of a couple men and women who are extremely successful together.
This method could work in conjunction with traffic that is paid, or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you need to have an email list constructed first. You would like the list to be built with an audience interested in earning money online (also referred to as the MMO niche).
Another viewer that may do nicely as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you’ve got business contacts on your list. Especially people in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From that point you would want to promote Clickfunnels in your email followups. Instead that’s by supplying a ton of free value, or a lead magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it is said that it takes someone around 7 times of viewing something on average, before they buy; the aim here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result is that a certain percentage of people may end up accepting the free trial of Clickfunnels. As soon as they do, provide them advice, or free tools etc to assist them along. Pat Flynn Clickfunnels
The end goal is obviously you want them to turn into a paying subscriber, in which you’d create a recurring commission for each month that they remain.
This is a really effective way of getting Clickfunnels trials. The drawback for this, is you have to be a Clickfunnels member, and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you may do, is drive visitors to a landing page, where you literally give these away funnels at no cost.
The goal here, is for people to not be Clickfunnels members , so they’ll need to join with your connection, then import the funnel in their dashboard.
Does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The brand new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which can potentially allow them to begin collecting trials immediately. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, fresh trials. From that point, you’d send some useful followup emails, with advice about how to land the visitors, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just like you are working to convert trials along with your funnel, they are trying to convert you.
It is not quite as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to be effective, you have to have traffic naturally. This may be done by either paid traffic, email advertising or SEO; that we’ll speak about now.
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter. Sure, it takes longer to begin making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin.
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and helpful posts (like this one), which will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc..
Once it takes some time to position, once it does a fantastic article can bring in visitors for many years to come; using minimal upkeep.
This is my favorite method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a good deal of cash into compensated traffic. The con about compensated visitors, is that although you can get traffic quick, you need to constantly keep sinking money into advertisements, or the visitors stops.
You don’t have to worry about this with SEO.
Although I haven’t made a million bucks using Clickfunnels as an affiliate, most my earnings are profit.
Here’s a screenshot of my dashboard at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of this past year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is how it begins to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.

Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is among the most popular strategies to building an email list.
You most likely won’t receive any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 from conducting a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a nice amount of optins for your list.
From there, you would use the email advertising method, to try and convert your new list subscribers to Clickfunnels trials. With powerful email advertising, this can be a great way to earn commissions at the long run.
The fantastic news about solo advertisements, is they are a list in which you will permanently own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do possess your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a great deal of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another plus to solo ads, is that as soon as you build your record, you can market many different affiliate offers. It is not for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp. You may register here for free. The motto for this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”. Although I find that somewhat extreme, it’s extremely informative, and can be quite helpful if you choose to undergo it. To be able to perform each the coaching, you may at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I have done it myself in the past.
It is done through the dashboard, so there’s absolutely no need to need to speak to anybody about it, should you decide it’s not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be very profitable as a Clickfunnels affiliate. Like anything, there are various men and women who neglect. However, in the event that you merely take action, and tweak things as you proceed, you’ll be successful. Pat Flynn Clickfunnels
My advice to you is to select 1 method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of people who remain stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
