Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ad Profits
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ad Profits
Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a few ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out a few of the most popular promotional procedures.
Please notethis is not all the methods. But, being a member of several Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods that I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we’ll examine each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this might help you choose which method best resonates with you.
Among the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Advertising . Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner effective ?
For me it wasn’t . I found that since this is taught from the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the same product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals provide a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and get the customer to take the free + shipping book offer.
This turns out for a much more effective approach, if you are wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he has broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ad Profits
The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a bit too rich for my blood.
For the reason of Adwords being so large, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still responsible for approximately 33% of all web traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you may have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Because of the, I Had expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it could be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In reality , I know of a few men and women who are very successful with them.
This technique could work together with traffic that’s compensated , or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you need to have an email list built first. You want the list to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts in your list. Especially those in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From that point you would want to promote Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a ton of free value, or a lead magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it is said that it takes someone around 7 times of viewing something on average, before they buy; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result will be a certain proportion of individuals may end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice, or free tools etc to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you want them to become a paying subscriber, where you would make a recurring commission for each month they stay . Solo Ad Profits
This is a very powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to already be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push visitors to a landing page, where you literally give these funnels for free.
The goal here, would be for people not to be Clickfunnels associates , so they will need to join with your connection, then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that really worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which has the capacity to allow them to start collecting trials instantly. Also at the exact same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some helpful followup emails, with advice on how to land the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting emails from the funnel builder. Because just as if you’re attempting to convert trials with your funnel, they are trying to convert you.
It is not as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to work, you have to get traffic of course. This can be accomplished by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about now.
For those of you that do not know , SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more time to start making progress. However, , it involves little to no cash to get started.
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and valuable articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it requires some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in traffic for years to come; with nominal maintenance .
This was my favorite method when beginning, because I did not want to sink lots of money into paid traffic.
The con about compensated traffic, is that though you may get traffic quick, you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t have to be worried about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are gain.
Here is a screenshot of my dashboard at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The great thing about SEO, is the way that it begins to compound once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I personally heard SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches into creating an email list.
You most likely won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a decent amount of optins to your list.
From that point, you’d use the email marketing method, to try and convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ad Profits
With powerful email advertising , this may be a excellent method to earn commissions in the long run.
The great news about solo ads, is that they’re a list in which you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people , who would be SOL.
Another plus to solo ads, is that later you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate supplies. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here for free.
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is very informative, and can be quite helpful if you decide to undergo it.
To be able to perform all of of the training, you will at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it myself previously.
It is done through the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to talk to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like with anything, you will find a range of people who fail. However, if you simply take action, and tweak things as you go, you will be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of people who stay stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This doesn’t help you climb. It holds you back.
