Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ad Sellers
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ad Sellers
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this guide, I will lay out some of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let us lay out some of the most common promotional methods.
Please notethis isn’t all of the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we shall discuss each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this might help you decide which method best resonates with you.
Among the most common methods of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels teaches you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective?
For me it was not . I found that since this is taught from the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Envision thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the same product.
Essentially, that is what it is. Now, some individuals offer a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and find the client to choose the free + shipping publication offer.
This turns out for a much more effective strategy, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate. Solo Ad Sellers
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way aggressive it is. Especially since the launching of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the course, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a little too rich for my blood.
Since of Adwords being large, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, maintain in mind it is still responsible for approximately 33% of all net traffic.
Lately for those who have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Since of the, I’d expect Bing traffic to increase. So, it may be a great chance for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few individuals who are extremely successful together.
This technique could work in conjunction with paid visitors , or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you need to have an email list constructed first. You want the listing to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your list. Especially people in a market such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to promote Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that is by giving a ton of free value, or a guide magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 days of seeing something on average, before they buy; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result is that a certain proportion of individuals will finish up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them guidance, or free tools etc to help them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, in which you’d make a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ad Sellers
This is a very effective method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to already be a Clickfunnels member, and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic into a landing page, where you actually give these funnels free of cost.
The purpose here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels members currently , so they will need to sign up with your connection , then import the funnel to their dashboard.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that actually worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which has the potential to let them start collecting trials instantly. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user who provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you’d send some useful followup emails, with advice on the best way to land the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you may also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just as though you’re trying to convert trials along with your funnel, they are attempting to convert you.
It is not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to work, you have to get traffic naturally. This could be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we shall talk about now.
For those of you that don’t know, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires longer to start making progress. However, , it involves little to no money to begin .
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and beneficial articles (like this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it requires some time to rank, once it does a good article can bring in traffic for a long time to come; using minimal upkeep.
This was my favorite method when starting out, since I did not want to sink lots of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic , is that though you can get traffic fast , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to be worried about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are profit.
Here is a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is the way that it starts to compound once your website (s) start to rank.
If you are interested in how I learned SEO, you can check out the class I took here.
Last on my list, is solo ads.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or two out of conducting a solo ad. But, you should find a decent quantity of optins to your list.
From that point, you would use the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ad Sellers
With effective email marketing , this can be a great method to earn commissions at the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is which they’re a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do possess your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people , who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may enroll here at no cost.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is very informative, and can be quite helpful if you decide to go through it.
In order to perform all the training, you’ll at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it myself in the past.
It is done via the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to speak to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a number of men and women who fail. However, if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you may be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of people who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
