Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads And Can Spam
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads And Can Spam
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this manual , I’ll lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let us lay out a few of the most popular promotional methods.
Please note, this isn’t all of the methods. However, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we shall examine each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this can help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels instructs you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner effective?
For me it was not . I found that since this is educated in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Envision thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals offer a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and in the follow up try and get the client to take the free + shipping book offer.
This turns out to be a much more effective approach, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate. Solo Ads And Can Spam
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of his course, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a bit too rich for my blood.
For why of Adwords being so high, some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, bear in mind it’s still responsible for approximately 33 percent of all net traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you may have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Because of this, I would expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it may be a great chance for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a few people who are very effective with them.
This technique could work collectively with paid traffic, or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you need to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be built having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially people in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to promote Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that is by giving a great deal of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we’ll discuss next.
Since it is said that it takes someone around 7 times of viewing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result is a certain percentage of people may end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, offer them guidance, or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you desire them to become a paying subscriber, in which you would create a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ads And Can Spam
This is a really effective method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to already be a Clickfunnels member, and be adequate in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic into a landing page, where you literally give these funnels at no cost.
The goal here, would be for people not to be Clickfunnels members , so they will need to sign up with your connection, then import the funnel in their dashboard.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that actually worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can potentially allow them to start collecting trials instantly. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you’d send some useful followup emails, with advice on the best way to land the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting emails from the funnel builder. Because just as if you’re trying to convert trials with your funnel, they’re trying to convert you.
It’s not as simple as it seems. Because in order for this to work, you have to have traffic of course. This could be accomplished by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we will talk about now.
For those of you that do not know , SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes longer to start making progress. However, it involves little to no cash to start .
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and useful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it requires some time to rank, once it does a great article can bring in traffic for a long time to come; with minimal maintenance .
This was my favorite method when beginning, because I did not want to sink lots of money into paid traffic.
The con about compensated visitors, is that although you can get traffic quickly , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t have to be worried about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are profit.
Here is a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The great thing about SEO, is the way that it begins to compound once your site (s) start to rank.
If you’re curious about how I personally heard SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo ads.
Solo ads is one of the most popular strategies to building an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. But, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list .
From that point, you would use the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads And Can Spam
With effective email marketing, this may be a excellent method to earn commissions at the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is that they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do have your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people personally, who would be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that later you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here for free.
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s quite informative, and can be very helpful if you decide to go through it.
In order to do all the training, you’ll at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I Have done it in the past.
It is done via the dashboard, so there’s absolutely no need to have to talk to anyone about it, if you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a number of individuals who fail. But if you just take action, and tweak things as you proceed, you will be successful.
My advice for you would be to pick one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This doesn’t help you scale. It holds you back.
