Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Group
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Group
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a few ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most common promotional procedures.
Please note, this isn’t all the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- SEO
- Solo Advertising
Below, we will examine each method a small more in depth. Hopefully this can help you decide which method best resonates with you.
Facebook Advertising
Among the most common methods of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Many individuals who often advertise through Facebook, use one of Russell Brunson’s books as the lead offer. Either Dotcom Secrets, or Professional Keys .
Now, is this way effective?
For me it was not. I discovered that since this is educated in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Envision tens of thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals provide a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and in the follow up attempt and find the customer to take the free + shipping book offer.
This proves for a much more effective strategy, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Google Adwords
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he has broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ads Group
The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of his course, many individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, driving the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a bit too rich for my blood.
Bing Advertising
For why of Adwords being high, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, keep in mind it is still accountable for around 33 percent of all net traffic.
Lately for those who have an Android phone, you may have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Since of the, I Had expect Bing visitors into increase. So, it may be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few people who are very successful with them.
Email Marketing
This technique could work collectively with paid visitors , or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You need the listing to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your list. Especially those in a marketplace such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to market Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that is by providing a ton of free value, or a guide magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we shall discuss next.
Since it is said that it takes someone around 7 times of viewing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result is a certain proportion of people will wind up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice, or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, in which you’d create a recurring commission for each month they stay . Solo Ads Group
Share Funnels
This is a really powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to be a Clickfunnels manhood, and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive visitors to a landing page, in which you literally give away these funnels for free.
The purpose here, would be for people to not be Clickfunnels associates , so they will have to sign up with your link , then import the funnel to their dash.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in many cases.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which has the capacity to allow them to start collecting trials immediately. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From there, you’d send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to land the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you’ll also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just as though you’re attempting to convert trials and your funnel, they are attempting to convert you.
It’s not as easy as it sounds. Because in order for this to succeed , you have to get traffic of course. This can be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about today.
SEO
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires longer to start making progress. However, , it involves little to no money to begin.
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it takes some time to rank, once it does a great article can bring in traffic for decades to come; using minimal upkeep.
This was my preferred method when beginning, since I did not want to sink a lot of money into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic , is that though you may get traffic quickly , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to worry about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.
Here is a screenshot of my dashboard in the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it begins to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.
If you are curious about how I personally heard SEO, you can check out the class I took here.
Solo Ads
Last on my list, is solo ads.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You most likely won’t receive any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list.
From there, you’d use the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Group
With effective email advertising, this can be a good way to earn commissions at the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is which they’re a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people personally, who would be SOL.
Another plus to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Affiliate Bootcamp
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can register here at no cost.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is very informative, and may be quite helpful if you choose to go through it.
In order to perform all of the training, you will at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I’ve done it myself in the past.
It’s done through the dashboard, so there’s absolutely no need to have to talk to anyone about it, should you pick it is not for you.
Overview
So, as you can see – it can be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like with anything, there are a range of people who neglect. But if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you will be successful.
My advice to you would be to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a good deal of individuals who stay stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This does not help you climb. It holds you back.
