Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Guide
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Guide
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everybody will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this guide, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a few ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out a few of the most frequent promotional methods.
Please note, this isn’t all the methods. However, being a member of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we’ll examine each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this can help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of promoting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective ?
For me it was not. I discovered that since this is taught from the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals provide a free lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and find the customer to choose the free + shipping publication offer.
This proves to be a much more effective strategy, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he has broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ads Guide
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way aggressive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, many individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of a single Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a little too rich for my blood.
Since of Adwords being so large, some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, bear in mind it’s still accountable for around 33 percent of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you may have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing instead of Google.
Because of this, I would expect Bing visitors to increase . So, it may be a excellent chance for Bing Ads. In reality , I know of a few people who are very effective with them.
This method could work together with paid visitors , or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO niche).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially those in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to market Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a great deal of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Because it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result is that a certain percentage of people will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice, or free tools etc to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you want them to become a paying subscriber, in which you would make a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ads Guide
This is a very effective method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels penis , and be adequate in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push visitors into a landing page, where you literally give these funnels at no cost.
The purpose here, is for people to not be Clickfunnels members currently , so they will have to sign up with your link, then import the funnel in their dashboard.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can possibly let them begin collecting trials immediately. Also at the exact same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From there, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on the best way to property the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails in the funnel builder. Because just as if you’re attempting to convert trials with your funnel, they’re trying to convert you.
It is not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to work, you need to get traffic of course. This can be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we shall talk about now.
For those of you that don’t know, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires more to start making progress. However, it involves little to no cash to begin .
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and valuable articles (like this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it requires some time to rank, once it does a great article can bring in traffic for years to come; with minimal maintenance.
This was my favorite method when starting out, because I didn’t want to sink lots of money into paid traffic.
The con about compensated visitors , is that although it is possible to get traffic quickly , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to be worried about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are gain.
Here’s a screenshot of my dashboard in the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it starts to compound once your site(s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I heard SEO, you can have a look in the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo ads.
Solo ads is one of the most popular strategies into building an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo ad. But, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list.
From there, you’d utilize the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Guide
With powerful email marketing , this may be a excellent way to earn commissions in the long run.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do have your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people , who would be SOL.
Another and to solo ads, is that once you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may enroll here free of charge .
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it is very informative, and may be very helpful if you decide to go through it.
In order to do all of the training, you’ll at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it myself previously.
It’s done through the dashboard, so there’s no need to have to speak to anyone about it, if you pick it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find many people who fail. But if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you’ll be successful.
My advice for you would be to pick one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of individuals who remain stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
