Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Needed
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Needed
Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this guide, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let us lay out some of the most frequent promotional procedures.
Please notethis is not all of the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned .
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we will discuss each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this might help you decide which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common methods of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates one to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective?
For me it was not. I found that since this is educated in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the same product.
Essentially, that is what it is. Now, some people now provide a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up attempt and get the customer to choose the free + shipping publication offer.
This proves to be a much more effective strategy, if you are wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and recognized Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he has broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ads Needed
The down side to Google Adwords, is how aggressive it is. Especially since the launch of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the course, a lot of individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a little too rich for my blood.
For why of Adwords being so high, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, bear in mind it is still accountable for around 33 percent of all internet traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
As a result of this, I Had expect Bing visitors to increase. So, it may be a great opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few individuals who are very successful together.
This method could work in conjunction with paid visitors , or as a stand alone thing .
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be built having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts in your list. Especially people in a market such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you would want to promote Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a great deal of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 days of seeing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result will be that a certain percentage of individuals will wind up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them guidance, or free tools etc to help them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, where you’d create a recurring commission for every month they stay. Solo Ads Needed
This is a really powerful method of getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels member, and be adequate at building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive traffic into a landing page, where you literally give these funnels for free.
The purpose here, would be for people to not be Clickfunnels members currently , so they will need to join with your connection , then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that actually worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which can possibly let them start collecting trials immediately. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From there, you’d send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails in the funnel builder. Because just like you’re trying to convert trials with your funnel, they’re trying to convert you.
It is not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to succeed , you need to get traffic naturally. This could be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we’ll talk about now.
For those of you that do not know, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires more to start making progress. But, it involves little to no money to get started.
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and useful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it takes some time to rank, once it does a good article can bring in visitors for years to come; using nominal maintenance.
This was my preferred method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about compensated traffic , is that though you may get traffic quickly , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to be worried about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are gain.
Here is a screenshot of my dash in the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I have earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is the manner that it begins to compound once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I personally heard SEO, you can check out the class I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements .
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You probably won’t receive any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. But, you should get a decent amount of optins to your list.
From that point, you’d utilize the email marketing method, to attempt to convert your new list subscribers into Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Needed
With powerful email marketing , this can be a excellent method to earn commissions in the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that later you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate supplies. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may enroll here for free.
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and can be quite helpful if you decide to go through it.
In order to perform all the training, you will at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it in the past.
It’s done through the dashboard, so there is no need to have to talk to anybody about it, should you decide it’s not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be very profitable as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, there are many people who neglect. However, if you just do it, and tweak things as you go, you’ll be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of individuals who remain stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This doesn’t help you scale. It holds you back.
