Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Traffic
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Traffic
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everybody will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I will lay out some of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out a few of the most common promotional methods.
Please note, this isn’t all of the methods. But, being a part of several Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see mentioned .
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we shall examine each method a little more in depth. Hopefully this can help you choose which method best resonates with you.
Among the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, is to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner effective ?
For me it was not . I found that because this is educated from the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Envision thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals offer a free lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and find the client to choose the free + shipping book offer.
This ends up for a much more effective strategy, if you are wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of people have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he is broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate. Solo Ads Traffic
The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of his course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a little too rich for my blood.
Because of Adwords being so large, some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing isn’t as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still responsible for approximately 33 percent of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing instead of Google.
As a consequence of the, I Had expect Bing visitors into increase. So, it could be a excellent chance for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a few people who are extremely successful with them.
This method could work in conjunction with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you need to have an email list built first. You need the listing to be built having an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts in your list. Especially people in a market such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to promote Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that’s by supplying a great deal of free value, or a guide magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we shall discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they buy ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The closing result is a certain percentage of people may finish up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, supply them advice, or free tools to help them along.
The end goal is obviously you desire them to become a paying subscriber, where you would make a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ads Traffic
This is a really effective method of getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic into a landing page, in which you actually give away these funnels for free.
The goal here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels associates , so they will need to join with your link, then import the funnel in their dashboard.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win in most cases.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which has the potential to allow them to start collecting trials immediately. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you’ll also be getting mails in the funnel builder. Because just like you’re trying to convert trials and your funnel, they are trying to convert you.
It is not as simple as it seems. Because in order for this to work, you need to have traffic of course. This could be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about today.
For those of you that do not understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes longer to start making progress. However, , it involves little to no cash to get started.
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it takes some time to rank, once it does a great article can bring in visitors for years to come; with nominal maintenance.
This was my favorite method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a lot of money into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic , is that although it’s likely to get traffic fast, you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to worry about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.
Here is a screenshot of my dash in the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The fantastic thing about SEO, is the manner that it begins to compound once your website (s) start to rank.
If you are interested in how I learned SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches into building an email list.
You probably will not get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. But, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list .
From that point, you would use the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Traffic
With powerful email advertising , this may be a great method to earn commissions in the long run.
The good news about solo ads, is that they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a whole lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that once you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate supplies. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can enroll here free of charge .
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and can be very helpful if you decide to undergo it.
To be able to perform all of the training, you may at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it myself previously.
It’s done via the dashboard, so there is no need to have to talk to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, there are many people who neglect. However, if you just do it, and tweak things as you proceed, you’ll be successful.
My advice for you would be to pick one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of people who remain stuck, because they divide their attention in too many directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
