Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Tutorial
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Tutorial
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everybody will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this manual , I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let us lay out some of the most popular promotional methods.
Please note, this isn’t all of the methods. However, being a member of several Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods that I most commonly see mentioned.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Ads
Below, we will examine each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this can help you decide which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels instructs you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective?
For me it wasn’t . I found that because this is educated in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the same product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some individuals offer a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up attempt and find the customer to take the free + shipping publication offer.
This proves to be a much more effective approach, if you’re wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he is broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ads Tutorial
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way aggressive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of his course, a lot of people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a bit too rich for my blood.
Because of Adwords being large , some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, keep in mind it’s still accountable for approximately 33 percent of all net traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
As a result of this, I Had expect Bing traffic to rise. So, it could be a great chance for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a few people that are extremely effective together.
This method could work collectively with paid traffic, or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be built with an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts in your listing. Especially those in a market such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to promote Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that’s by providing a great deal of free value, or a direct magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Because it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of watching something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result will be that a certain proportion of individuals may end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, supply them advice , or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you want them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ads Tutorial
This is a really powerful method of getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you’ve got to already be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent at building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive traffic to a landing page, where you actually give these funnels free of cost.
The goal here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels members already, so they will have to sign up with your connection, then import the funnel to their dash.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which has the potential to let them start collecting trials instantly. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting emails from the funnel builder. Because just like you’re attempting to convert trials with your funnel, they’re attempting to convert you.
It is not as simple as it seems. Because in order for this to succeed , you need to get traffic naturally. This can be done by either paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we will talk about today.
For those of you that do not understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more time to begin making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin .
The goal behind SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it takes a while to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in traffic for years to come; using nominal maintenance.
This was my favorite method when beginning, since I didn’t want to sink a lot of money into paid traffic.
The con about compensated visitors , is that though you can get traffic quick, you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not need to be worried about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are profit.
Here is a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I began getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of past year. So, about 9 months ago.
As you can see, I have earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it begins to compound once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re curious about how I heard SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo ads.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You probably won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 from conducting a solo ad. But, you should find a decent amount of optins to your listing.
From there, you’d utilize the email advertising method, to try and convert your new list readers into Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Tutorial
With powerful email marketing, this may be a excellent method to earn commissions in the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they are a list where you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do possess your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another plus to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, known as the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can enroll here at no cost.
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s quite informative, and may be very helpful if you choose to go through it.
To be able to perform all of the training, you may at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you don’t feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I Have done it in the past.
It is done via the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to talk to anyone about it, should you pick it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be quite profitable as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a range of people who neglect. But if you simply do it, and tweak things as you go, you will be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, since they divide their attention in too many directions.
This doesn’t help you climb. It holds you back.
