Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads Vs Facebook Ads
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads Vs Facebook Ads
Well, the answer is absolutely. However, not everybody will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I Will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a few ways , and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most common promotional procedures.
Please notethis is not all the methods. However, being a member of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we will examine each method a small more in depth. Hopefully this can help you decide which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common methods of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective ?
For me it wasn’t. I discovered that because this is educated from the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for exactly the same product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some people offer a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and get the customer to choose the free + shipping book offer.
This proves to be a far more effective strategy, if you are wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The hottest and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he is broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. Solo Ads Vs Facebook Ads
The down side to Google Adwords, is how aggressive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Because of the popularity of the course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the price of a single Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a little too rich for my blood.
For why of Adwords being large, some people have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, maintain in mind it’s still accountable for approximately 33 percent of all web traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing instead of Google.
As a consequence of this, I’d expect Bing traffic into increase. So, it may be a excellent chance for Bing Ads. In fact, I know of a few people that are very effective with them.
This method could work in conjunction with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone entity.
First off, you need to have an email list built first. You need the list to be constructed with an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially those in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to promote Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that’s by giving a ton of free value, or a guide magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of watching something on average, before they buy ; the goal here is to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The final result is a certain proportion of individuals will finish up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, provide them advice , or free tools etc to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you desire them to become a paying subscriber, where you’d make a recurring commission for each month they stay . Solo Ads Vs Facebook Ads
This is a very effective method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to currently be a Clickfunnels member, and be decent in building a funnel.
What you will do, is drive traffic into a landing page, in which you literally give away these funnels free of .
The goal here, would be for people not to be Clickfunnels members , so they’ll need to join with your link , then import the funnel into their dashboard.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked on me a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can possibly let them start collecting trials immediately. Also at exactly the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user who provided the funnel, new trials.
From that point, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be receiving mails from the funnel builder. Because just like you are trying to convert trials with your funnel, they are trying to convert you.
It’s not as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to work, you need to have traffic of course. This could be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; which we will talk about today.
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it requires more time to start making progress. However, it involves little to no cash to get started.
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it takes some time to rank, once it does a fantastic article can bring in traffic for years to come; using nominal maintenance.
This was my preferred method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink a lot of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic , is that though it’s possible to get traffic fast , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not need to worry about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are gain.
Here is a screenshot of my dash in the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of last year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I have earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it starts to chemical once your site (s) start to rank.
If you are curious about how I heard SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to building an email list.
You most likely won’t get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 out of running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a decent amount of optins to your list .
From that point, you’d use the email advertising method, to endeavor to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads Vs Facebook Ads
With powerful email marketing, this may be a excellent way to earn commissions at the long term.
The great news about solo ads, is that they are a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate supplies. It is not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You can register here for free.
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it is quite informative, and may be quite helpful if you decide to undergo it.
In order to do all of the training, you may at least need to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which can be found here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I Have done it myself in the past.
It is done through the dashboard, so there’s absolutely no need to have to talk to anybody about it, if you pick it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it can be quite rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find a range of people who fail. But if you just do it , and tweak things as you proceed, you will be successful.
My advice for you would be to pick one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see that a lot of people who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This doesn’t help you scale. It holds you back.
