Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? Solo Ads
While Clickfunnels may be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning plenty of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? Solo Ads
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everyone will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this article, I Will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I’ve tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out some of the most popular promotional methods.
Please notethis isn’t all of the methods. But, being a part of many Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods I most commonly see cited .
- Facebook Ads
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Advertising
Below, we’ll discuss each method a bit more in depth. Hopefully this can help you decide which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common methods of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Ads. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates one to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this manner effective?
For me it wasn’t. I found that since this is educated in the bootcamp, it’s somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that is what it is. Now, some people now provide a free lead magnet, to obtain an email address; and in the follow up try and get the customer to take the free + shipping publication offer.
This ends up for a much more effective approach, if you are wanting to go the Facebook advertisement route.
Up next, is just another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, many individuals have made a ton of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he is broken 1 million dollars as an affiliate. Solo Ads
The down side to Google Adwords, is the way aggressive it is. Especially since the release of Spencer’s class Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of the course, a lot of individuals have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, driving the price of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I Have seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that’s a little too rich for my blood.
Because of Adwords being high, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, bear in mind it is still accountable for approximately 33% of all net traffic.
Lately if you have an Android phone, you might have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
Because of the, I’d expect Bing traffic to increase . So, it may be a excellent opportunity for Bing Ads. In actuality, I know of a few individuals who are extremely effective together.
This method could work together with paid traffic, or as a stand alone thing .
First off, you need to have an email list constructed first. You need the listing to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also referred to as the MMO niche).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your listing. Especially people in a marketplace such as Health or Real Estate.
From that point you’d want to market Clickfunnels in your email followups. Rather that is by supplying a great deal of free value, or a lead magnet. Or, even a talk funnel, which we shall discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they purchase ; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The end result will be that a certain proportion of individuals will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, offer them guidance, or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they stay. Solo Ads
This is a really powerful method for getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to be a Clickfunnels penis , and be adequate in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic to a landing page, where you literally give away these funnels free of .
The goal here, is for people not to be Clickfunnels members already, so they will need to sign up with your link, then import the funnel in their dash.
Not only does this work, it was the first strategy that really worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win in many cases.
The new subscriber instantly includes a funnel, which can possibly let them start collecting trials instantly. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that provided the funnel, new trials.
From there, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how best to property the traffic , and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you will also be getting mails from the funnel builder. Because just like you are trying to convert trials with your funnel, they are attempting to convert you.
It’s not as simple as it sounds. Because in order for this to work, you need to get traffic of course. This can be done by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about today.
For those of you that don’t know , SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more time to start making progress. However, it involves little to no money to begin.
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and helpful articles (like this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
Once it requires a while to rank, once it does a good article can bring in visitors for decades to come; using nominal maintenance.
This was my preferred method when starting out, because I didn’t want to sink lots of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid visitors , is that though you can get traffic quickly , you need to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You don’t have to be worried about this with SEO.
Although I have not made a million dollars with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all of my earnings are gain .
Here’s a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of this past year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned nearly 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it begins to chemical once your website (s) start to rank.
If you’re interested in how I personally learned SEO, you can have a look at the class I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches to creating an email list.
You likely won’t get any trials, possibly a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should find a decent amount of optins to your list .
From that point, you’d use the email advertising method, to try and convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. Solo Ads
With effective email advertising , this may be a good way to earn commissions in the long run.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is that they’re a list in which you will forever own.
You don’t own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do own your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people personally, who would be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may register here free of charge .
The motto behind this, is instructing you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Although I find that a bit extreme, it’s quite informative, and may be quite helpful if you decide to go through it.
To be able to do all of of the training, you may at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is easy to cancel. I’ve done it in the past.
It’s done via the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to speak to anybody about it, should you decide it’s not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like with anything, there are many people who neglect. But if you simply do it, and tweak things as you go, you will be successful.
My advice for you is to select one method that resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of individuals who stay stuck, because they divide their attention in too many directions.
This doesn’t help you climb. It holds you back.
