Can You Make Money As a Clickfunnels Affiliate? To Nurture Leads
While Clickfunnels might be the most popular sales funnel software ever, you often hear people talking about earning a lot of money as a Clickfunnels affiliate. But can you? To Nurture Leads
Well, the answer is absolutely. But, not everybody will.
It all depends on what your skillset is, and how you go about promoting it.
Clickfunnels Affiliate Promotion Methods
In this guide, I will lay out a few of the basic ways people promote Clickfunnels as an affiliate. I have tried a couple of ways myself, and will share what works best for me.
First, let’s lay out a few of the most popular promotional methods.
Please notethis is not all of the methods. But, being a member of several Clickfunnels Facebook groups, these are the methods that I most commonly see cited.
- Facebook Advertising
- Google Adwords
- Bing Ads
- Email Marketing
- Share Funnels
- Solo Marketing
Below, we’ll examine each method a small more in depth. Hopefully this might help you choose which method best resonates with you.
One of the most common procedures of boosting Clickfunnels as an affiliate, would be to use Facebook Advertising. Matter of fact, Clickfunnels educates you to do this in their Affiliate Bootcamp.
Now, is this way effective?
For me it was not . I discovered that since this is taught in the bootcamp, it is somewhat saturated. Imagine thousands of people, all running the same ad, for the identical product.
Essentially, that’s what it is. Now, some people provide a free lead magnet, to get an email address; and at the follow up try and get the client to take the free + shipping book offer.
This proves for a much more effective strategy , if you are wanting to go the Facebook ad route.
Up next, is another paid traffic source; Google Adwords.
Now, lots of individuals have made a ton of cash as a Clickfunnels affiliate, using Adwords. The most popular and well known Clickfunnels affiliate, is Spencer Mecham.
This is with good reason, seeing as he’s broken 1 million bucks as an affiliate. To Nurture Leads
The down side to Google Adwords, is how competitive it is. Especially since the launching of Spencer’s course Affiliate Secrets 2.0.
Due to the popularity of his course, many people have dove headfirst into the Adwords method, forcing the cost of one Clickfunnels trial through the roof.
I’ve seen people paying upwards of $400 for a single click! Not a trial; a click.
Not sure about you, but that is a bit too rich for my blood.
Since of Adwords being high, some folks have turned to advertising on Bing.
Though Bing is not as popular as Google, keep in mind it is still accountable for approximately 33% of all net traffic.
Recently if you have an Android phone, you may have noticed when clicking a link in your email, the URL opens in Bing rather than Google.
As a consequence of this, I’d expect Bing traffic to increase . So, it could be a great chance for Bing Ads. In reality , I know of a few individuals who are extremely effective with them.
This technique could work in conjunction with traffic that’s paid, or as a stand alone thing.
First off, you have to have an email list constructed first. You want the list to be constructed having an audience interested in making money online (also known as the MMO market ).
Another audience that may do well as a Clickfunnels Affiliate, is if you have business contacts on your list. Especially those in a niche such as Health or Real Estate.
From there you’d want to market Clickfunnels on your email followups. Rather that is by giving a ton of free value, or a lead magnet. Or, even a share funnel, which we will discuss next.
Since it’s said that it takes someone around 7 times of seeing something on average, before they purchase; the goal here would be to keep showing them the value of Clickfunnels.
The closing result will be a certain proportion of people will end up taking the free trial of Clickfunnels. Once they do, offer them advice , or free tools to assist them along.
The end goal is obviously you need them to become a paying subscriber, where you would create a recurring commission for each month they stay . To Nurture Leads
This is a really powerful method of getting Clickfunnels trials. The downside to it, is that you have to already be a Clickfunnels manhood, and be decent in building a funnel.
What you will do, is push traffic into a landing page, where you literally give away these funnels free of cost.
The purpose here, would be for people not to be Clickfunnels associates currently , so they will need to sign up with your link, then import the funnel into their dash.
Not only does this job, it was the first strategy that really worked a year or so ago. This is a win-win ordinarily.
The new subscriber instantly has a funnel, which has the potential to let them start collecting trials immediately. Also at the same time, it lands the Clickfunnels user that supplied the funnel, new trials.
From there, you would send some useful followup emails, with advice on how to land the traffic, and how to turn them into paying members.
Most likely, you may also be receiving emails in the funnel builder. Because just like you’re attempting to convert trials with your funnel, they are attempting to convert you.
It’s not as easy as it seems. Because in order for this to be effective, you need to get traffic naturally. This can be accomplished by paid traffic, email marketing or SEO; that we will talk about today.
For those of you that don’t understand, SEO is my bread and butter.
Sure, it takes more to begin making progress. However, it involves little to no cash to begin .
The purpose of SEO, is to write high quality and beneficial articles (such as this one), that will rank in the search engines of Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.. .
While it takes some time to rank, once it does a good article can bring in traffic for years to come; with minimal maintenance.
This was my favorite method when starting out, since I didn’t want to sink lots of cash into paid traffic.
The con about paid traffic, is that although it is likely to get traffic fast , you have to constantly keep sinking money into ads, or the traffic stops.
You do not have to be worried about this with SEO.
Though I have not made a million bucks with Clickfunnels as an affiliate, all my earnings are gain.
Here is a screenshot of my dash at the time of this writing.
I started getting Clickfunnels traffic around April of past year. So, about 9 weeks ago.
As you can see, I’ve earned almost 15k in Clickfunnels Affiliate commissions.
The good thing about SEO, is how it starts to compound once your site (s) begin to rank.
If you are curious about how I learned SEO, you can check out the course I took here.
Last on my list, is solo advertisements.
Solo ads is one of the most popular approaches into building an email list.
You most likely will not get any trials, maybe a stray 1 or 2 from running a solo ad. Nonetheless, you should get a decent amount of optins to your list.
From that point, you would utilize the email advertising method, to attempt to convert your new list readers to Clickfunnels trials. To Nurture Leads
With effective email marketing , this can be a good way to earn commissions at the long term.
The fantastic news about solo ads, is they’re a list where you will forever own.
You do not own Google traffic. Or, Facebook traffic.
You do have your email list.
If Facebook shut down tomorrow, I know a lot of people personally, who’d be SOL.
Another incentive to solo ads, is that after you build your list, you can promote many different affiliate offers. It’s not solely for Clickfunnels.
Clickfunnels has its own Clickfunnels Affiliate training, called the Affiliate Bootcamp.
You may enroll here free of charge .
The motto behind this, is teaching you”How to Retire in 100 Days As a Clickfunnels Affiliate”.
Though I find that a bit extreme, it’s very informative, and can be very helpful if you choose to undergo it.
In order to perform all of of the training, you may at least have to have the 14 day trial of Clickfunnels, which are available here.
If after 2 weeks of trialing, you do not feel like paying for it, Clickfunnels is simple to cancel. I’ve done it previously.
It is done through the dashboard, so there is absolutely no need to have to speak to anybody about it, should you decide it is not for you.
So, as you can see – it could be very rewarding as a Clickfunnels affiliate.
Like anything, you will find many people who neglect. But if you simply do it, and tweak things as you go, you’ll be successful.
My advice to you would be to select one method which resonates with you, and master it. I see a lot of people who remain stuck, because they divide their attention in a lot of directions.
This does not help you scale. It holds you back.
